证券上市的一般原则
联交所目的是维持投资者对市场的信心
申请人适宜上市
证券的发行及销售是以公平及有秩序的形式进行，而投资人可获得足够的资料，对发行人作出全面的评估
上市证券的所有持有人均受到公正及平等对待
上市发行人的董事在整体上本着股东的利益行事，尤其当公众人士属少数股东时
证券上市的基本条件
发行人必须在相若的管理层管理下，具备一般不少于三个财政年度的营业纪录。在该段期间，最近一年的盈利不得少于2千万港元，及其前两年累计的盈利不得低于3千万港元
新申请人上市时的预计市值不得少于1亿港元，而为公众人士所持有的证券的预计市值不得少于5千万港元
公众人士持股一般不少于25%。若发行人的预计市值超逾40亿港元，公众人士所持有的比例可降低至10%至25%之间
