1. General Provisions
1.1 The Policy Composition
This Policy consists of insurance terms and conditions, the application form, the Policy Schedule,
or other insurance certificates and endorsements. All stipulations involved in this Policy must be
formulated in writing.
1.2 The Insured Person
Should be healthy natural persons between 16 and 65 years of age In Full Year (see 6.1
for definition), can carry on regular job and work.
1.3 The Policyholder
Should be government agencies, corporations, public institutes and social communities
that have insurance interests to the Insured Person. The number of Insured Person
should exceed 75% of total number of full time staff and no less than 5 people.
1.4 Beneficiaries
1.4.1 Death Benefit Beneficiary
At the time of the contract establishment, the Insured Person or the Policyholder could
designate one or multiple Beneficiaries. When there are more than one death benefit
Beneficiaries, priorities and shares of the benefit of each Beneficiary should be
pre-determined. Where shares are not clearly determined, each Beneficiary will have
equal share of the death benefit.
The Insured Person or Policyholder could change death benefit Beneficiary with a written
notice to the Insurer (Definition 6.2). Insurer will provide endorsement on the policy.
The Insurer bears no liability for any legal dispute arose as a result of changes to death
benefit Beneficiary.
The Policyholder should receive written consent from the Insured Person when
designating or changing death benefit Beneficiaries. If the Insured Person has only
limited civil abilities, it should fall on the guardian to appoint or change death benefit
Beneficiaries.
1.4.2 Beneficiary for Disablement or Burn Benefit
